Team Chemistry playing a key part in caps success this season

GM Vonk didnt expect this kind of success this season but after seeing what chemistry and a team game can do for a club, he has believed that there is no reason why this club cant a) make the playoffs b) upset a few teams along the way and c) maybe take home the cup to the nations capital....Giggy isnt putting up top 10 numbers but is performing well enough to keep the team winning.. backup Yan Danis, has thus far earned his pay and put up some big wins for us already... if he keeps that up, he'll get 10-20 starts this season which will keep Giggy fresh for a hopeful long playoff run..."he's a vet that knows how to win and if he gets hot at the right time, who knows what this team can do" says GM Vonk...

The team can add superstar Alexander Radulov next season and not at a better time.... That is the icing on the cake and i guess we are just lucky that the timing of that transaction came when it did... we'll be short a few forwards next season and should he not bolt back to the KHL next season he'll have a home in Washington for years to come....We will need some UFA help in the offseason for a few spots but nothing we can't fix, especially if the team gets some additional funds from the league....making the playoffs will add some much needed funds into the club(especially if the team can make a good run....look for us to make some sponsor moves and infuse some money into the club to keep it strong for years to come...
