Islanders hire new GM 2013-10-29 Before moving to Brooklyn the Islanders organization decided that changing management regimes would be extremely important to make this team the best possible. The hope is young but experienced Ben Gallant can make this team better. "I came in and saw a pretty god team, we need to fill out some depth positions" said Gallant "We aren't missing much to be a contender".
