Flyers Take Down The Wings In 6

The Flyers are moving on in the battle of the flock. 

The Flyers jumped out to a 2-0 series lead, to have the wings claw back in game three, in a heavy fought first three games the Flyers would come out on top in game four to take a 3-1 series lead heading back to Philly. 

Game five could have been a series clinching game for the Flyers but the wings pulled off the win to push game six back in Mo-town. 

Going in to Game six and Jeff Carter able to play, The Flyers put together a solid Third Period and would eventually end up sealing the deal and move on to the second round. 

Flyers GM had this to say " The Red Wings are a great organization, with many tallented players, there top line is one of the best in the league and we just needed to shut them down, Much respect for the Wings organization, well managed club"

The Flyers await there round two opponent, but the Flyers know they are not done yet.
