The Shadows of Greatness - Part II 2011-06-14 The last article went it to great detail the history of Grant Clitsome's rise to elite status. There was one thing that was not mentioned though. Clitsome has so much talent and stamina he is actually playing for two organizations. Clitsome has also spent the last two seasons playing in the Vancouver Canucks organization with their AHL affliate the (soon to be formerly known as the) Manitoba Moose. With such exceptional talent the Canucks couldn't keep him for themselves. Although they had lobbied to the league commisioner to keep him on their roster exclusively he was whored out to other organizations. Look for the Canucks to attempt to retain his rights.
