WOOOOOOOOO!!!!

2014-08-07

The Boston Bruins have called this press conference to announce we have come to terms with Richard Morgan Fliehr, aka Ric "The Nature Boy" Flair. Going forward Ric will be taking over as General Manager for the Boston Bruins. The Nature Boy spent last season overseas working with a smaller market team. In one short year he was able to turn the team around and instill a winning culture.

Steven Valente, who has hired Ric, will continue to concentrate upon his duties as the President of Hockey Operations. He had this to say, "We feel "The Nature Boy" will bring the right type of energy our club has lacked in recent years. We absolutly love his how should I put this "Flair" for the dramatics. He brings a certain charisma that has been lost in recent years that we need to instill in our young players. With Ric at the helm we feel we will be unstoppable."

Not to be outdone,  Flair wasted little time introducing himself to the Boston media "I'm Ric Flair! The Stylin', profilin', limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' n' dealin' son of a gun! When asked about the direction we was willing to go Ric was mostly tight lipped simply stating "To be the man, you gotta beat the man."

When asked about his assessment of the recent teams shortfalls he was quoted as saying, "My problem is that I think everybody needs to work as hard as I worked when I was in my prime."

When asked about the autonomy he is expected to have under the hard-nosed no nonsense President Valente he refered to his previous experience "First of all, Vince McMahon doesn't argue - he tells you!"

Things in Boston have not been more electric than ever. The injection of Ric Flair into the organization could be one of the biggest Rags to Ric’s stories ever.
