SHARK SPLASH

GM Mathew Peltier made some huge moves yesterday.

Sharks have moved Patrick Marleau, Marian Gaborik and Troy Brouwer to the Ducks, Peltier had made previous comments regarding somthing that would make a "HUGE SPLASH" and this is huge alright!!!!!

In return the Ducks have moved a Huge amount in this deal, sending Joe Pavelski, Martin Havlat,Kyle Quincey as well as first round pick

Phillip Danault and a fourth round pick in this years draft.

In the Sharks first nine games they started out very well posting a 6-1-2 record which for most teams would be a great start.

Peltier had this to say "We started out very well and i couldn't be happier but i felt that with our team. with the contracts the way they are changes were needed" We had previous discussions with the ducks gm and were close to pulling the trigger but we felt ths offer did it for us. "

Peltier since taking over as the new GM of the Sharks has brought in alot of tallent thus far. with the trades which moved Pekka Rinne out and Jannik Hansen, Ryan Murphy in. and know this trade has brought alot of depth in creating a new begining for the Sharks.

In hopes on taking the Sharks to the Cup Finale in his first season Peltier is making a name for himself thus far.
