Ducks team mates feel betrayal

   The Ducks went down to the wire in trying to re aquire one Mr Mark Streit., but it wasn't to be. In the end after thinking a deal was in place. Mr Streit jumped ship for what he precieves as greener pastures. " Its a shame" said GM Kevin Reynolds. " We actually thought we had an agreement and then find out he left at the last sec". Team mate and Defensive partner Andy Greene said the following " It was quite a shock to hear that Mark left us in that manner, we all feel he betrayed us large". He also went on to say " The team has been talking and this has motivated us big time"... " being shunned like this has created a Ducks against the world mentality". Also new comer and veteran Henrik Zetterberg had this to say " Mark thinks he has a better chance but i think he made a huge mistake. They say the grass is greener on the other side. But i believe when something happens in the way it has, its usually manure on the other side of that fence".
