GM Behm Thriving in League, Excited About Unexpected Top Draft Pick
2026-01-14News Reporter… GM Behm, you’ve quickly become one of the most active and vocal managers in the league. What do you enjoy most about being part of this fantasy hockey community?
GM Behm… Honestly, it’s the people. The other managers make this league so much fun between the trade talks, the jokes in Discord, and the friendly competition, it’s more than just hockey stats. It’s like a community of rivals who respect each other, and that makes every win sweeter.
News Reporter… You’ve talked a lot about being a rookie GM finding your footing. How does that impact your approach?
GM Behm… Being new means I’m learning fast, but it also means I’m not afraid to make bold moves. I’m here to compete and have a good time, so I try to balance calculated risks with keeping things lighthearted.
News Reporter… One of the hot topics is your Vancouver first-round pick. You originally thought it would be a late pick, somewhere in the 25th to 32nd range, but now it’s projected as a top 3 pick. How are you handling that surprise?
GM Behm… It’s definitely a pleasant surprise! I’m crossing my fingers it stays in the top 10 at least because that pick could really change the trajectory of the Ducks. It’s funny how things work out you plan for one thing, and then the draft lottery flips the script. Keeps you on your toes.
News Reporter… What’s your outlook for the rest of the season?
GM Behm… I’m here for the long haul. I’ll keep trading, chatting, and competing hard but above all, I want to enjoy the ride with this great group of managers. It’s fantasy hockey, after all, and the fun is what matters most.
