Clouston Signs

2010-08-27

Cory Clouston, a native of Viking, Alta. was formally introduced as the new Head Coach of the Boston Bruins on Friday. " I am absolutly thrilled to be here" Clouston said, .

Clouston seems to be an idea fit for the Bruins organization with alot of youth they will need to be disciplined this year.

"Cory's basically all business," GM Valente said. "He obviously takes the job very seriously and he demands a lot from players, but he's very clear. He's will do a good job of communicating to players what he wants and the system. There's no grey areas and that helps us as a team."

Its all about getting the team to  pull in the right direction in just about every area," Clouston said Friday. "Our goaltending is good but our penalty killing and power play will need to be solid in order to be successful. Offensively Steven has done a great job with some new additions up from and with the new additions we will be able to generate more chances and start to bury some of our chances."

Clouston will be meeting with the players in the coming days and is eager to being on ice practice. "I will be looking forward to assessing the team as we get practice underway in the coming weeks to get a better grasp of what our strenghts nd weaknesses are as a team and find a way to bridge those gaps "
