Changes in capland

Since the beginning of the season, we knew this team was a work in progress. Many deals were made, very few vets remained and those that did will serve as mentor to the youth movement coming into Washington.

GM Vonk was mostly happy with his deals and generally came out with a good trade deadline. With the future looking bright, and many roster spots already filled with young guys eager to prove themselves next year, we suspect we can be that team sneaking into 8th and getting in. OR win the division if we can acquire a free agent or two.

IN: Repik, alzner, simmonds, Boyle, Eller, Okposo, Schultz, Johannsen , Tangradi, Mattias,Russell

OUT: Jovoovski, foster, Savard, Brouwer, Hemsky, Johnson, Marchand

With that said, this team has  been starting to gel , when the GM has openly admitted to his guys, dont win too many, we have a top 10 pick on the line and want a decent player coming our way for the future.

WE WILL BE LOOKING TO UPGRADE OUR PICK at the DRAFT... Keep that in mind if you want to sell off a pick or trade for WAS 1st....
