Sharks ready for the bite

2010-09-30
San Jose CA. Big party time and full house in San Jose last night. After LA based hardrockers from Motley Crue performed a special gig on the ice of the HP Pavillon and GM Marco Christ  spoke to the fans of the Sharks, the presentation of the new players and the nomination of the captain and assistants were the highlights of a special evening with the San Jose Sharks.

As a surprise winger Brian Gionta will lead the Sharks in his first season with the team. Needless to say that this is a sign that the Sharks are looking to trade former captain Bill Guerin. As the assistants of Gionta the Sharks named Sami Salo and Niklas Hagman.

Concerning the seasoning goal GM Christ said : « I think, we will go for a playoff spot and then we take step by step »
