Austin Evans

Chris Tierney and Kevin Hayes should also be on this list, theyre both over 41 games

Clayton Hansler You're right...two missed out of the whole league isnt that bad!

Austin Evans True, good job ron. Btw the games played limit of 82 seems kinda ridiculous for 18/19 year olds. If a player plays 70 games as an 18 year old he should be activated. Should be 41 games for all prospects regardless of age

Austin Evans Then some teams, you know who you are, cant just game the system and refuse to activate legit NHL players

Todd Semonick name someone who would have made my pro roster that I didnt activate Austin?

Austin Evans Wasnt trying to single anyone out todd. I would argue that just because a player cant crack your stacked roster doesnt mean he shouldnt be activated

Austin Evans The fact that you didnt activate oli maata last year is just ridiculous to me

Todd Semonick Tyler Myers was my #7 dman, why would i activate olli to ride the pine, sounds like poor player development to me

Austin Evans Not activating him is basically just cap circumvention. You just want to extend him entry level contract to 4 or 5 years instead of 3. To me that isnt fair

Dylan Wilson The current rules were implemented when they really didn't have to be. These current rules work just fine

Austin Evans I mean I dont blame you for taking advantage of the system Todd I would do the same thing. Just pointing out an obvious flaw in the system

Todd Semonick not fair is having to activate a guy and burn a year of his deal when he couldnt make my team, in the nhl the team wouldnt be allowed to play such a player in the ahl

Clayton Hansler The justification behind this is if he's been able to play in the NHL for that many games, he should be created in this league. He's already burned a year on his NHL deal (most cases), so how is that not fair here?

Clayton Hansler I sympathize with you Todd, you have a deep team, and you're right, on your team, you most likely will burn a year if they sit where they currently sit. But you are also a smart GM, and you will figure out a way to make this work for your team while...
