Bolts Propsects updated!

2009-03-12

Tampa Bay, FL, (AP)-   The Tampa Bay Lightning have updated there prospect list.  We found some surprises but also are more aware that we need to work on our draft to build the future of this organization. We have some nice pieces and feel a few that are ranked in the middle might get better with time and opportunity.

The season has been remarkable this year so far . The team is currently leading the MRFHL in total points with the Philadelphia on there heels all season in the battle for the President's Trophy. The Fylers have 5 games in hand and are only 8 points behind. This will be a battle till the end.

Goaltender Martin Biron has been nothing less of spectacular posting his 50 win of the season the other night. I don't think there is one player who hasn't played good this season, if someone has been stale someone else has stepped it up. The Lightning have 9 games left this season 5 of them at home and 4 on the road, and  2of the 9 contest are against the Philadelphia Fylers. This is two match-ups both teams and Gm's have been waiting for. They could be the difference between 1st and 2nd in the conference and Overall.

The Tampa Bay Organization would like to welcome New Pittsburgh Gm Jason "Beamer" Behm. I will miss Dennis the previous Gm. But this gentlemen will continue to build that club in Pittsburgh and keep an elite organization. Good Luck Jason!!
