Ottawa prevails in shootout shutout 2009-11-01 (AP) Brian Boucher has struggled so far this season but on Saturday night he turned in his best effort with a 65 minutes shutout shootout win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. Nicklas Backstrom scored the only goal in the shootout as he deked Tampa Bay Pekka Rinne right off his skates and tucked the puck into the lower right hand corner. Both Boucher and Rinne get credit for the shutout as the mild mannered game featured a small handful of minor penalties.
