Sens climb to .500 2009-11-23 (AP) After a less than stellar start, the young Ottawa Senators team have climbed to a .500 winning percentage. The team is alternating veterans Scott Clemmensen and Brian Boucher in goal, while wing Devin Setoguchi is the leading scoring, closely followed by centers Stephen Weiss and Niklas Backstrom. "We get occasional calls and emails for trades, but we're sticking with this group throughout the season. Drew Doughty has the right stuff to be a leader. Plus we have some tremendous talent in Binghamton as well as on our prospects list. I believe the Senators will become a force in the MRFHL in the years to come," owner/general manager Gary Brown told the press today.
