Devils Letter Of Resignation

2009-12-19

On a cold saturday winter day in December, there wasn't much news in the MRFHL world until rumours started speculating that an unknown GM had sent in his letter of resignation. Little did we know that this GM would be Mr. Brandon Bennett. It came as a surprise to the League as GM Bennett had already resigned from the Maple Leafs to only make a come back with the New Jersey Devils, his intent to rebuild this team with youth and take them to the promise land.

In a press conference today, Mr. Brandon Bennett it made clear why it's happened.

"It just seems as if the league has lost its luster to it. Not many GM's are active these days and it takes away the fun of it. Trading is nearly impossible now except for three GM's, Mr. Bicknell, Mr. Gibbons and Mr. Wilson. It's a league for fun and people let there ego's get in the way, taking away the fun. Without active GM's, the luster of this once amazing league has left. It might be me but no one contacts me ever for trading or just to talk and ask how the team is going," Brandon Bennett announced as he stepped away from the podium for what very much could be the last time.

Personal regards go out to Mr. Phil Grote, Todd Semonick, Dylan Wilson, Lochlin Bicknell, Scott Davidson, Nick Gibbons, and Florin Leisch. You were all great to negotiate with, even if some arguments were created. To everyone else, props to being in the league with you and I'll probably eventually be back. Merry Christmas to all and to all goodnight!
