MRFHL UFA to Finish....

Im sure everyone has noticed there has been a lack of updates this week.  It was purposefully done, I can assure you, and those who have waited patiently, I thank you very much, you've helped make this a very fun process for me.

I wanted to wait roughly a week for good reasoning. I wanted to see what would happen if I allowed a few days before signing players, because a complaint seemed to be that I wasn't giving enough time and it just went to the highest bidder. And as I thought, the GM's that were complaining are absolutely no where to be found in the UFA mailbox, even with the extra time. So it showed me the difference between who's dedicated, and who just simply doesn't even try, then gets upset when a player they coveted is signed.

I feel I gave everyone a fair shake in this process. If you don't feel that way, I'm always receptive to constructive critizism, so please don't feel shy, message or email me and we can talk about it. Who knows, maybe I share your point of view. As I stated before, I would be willing to open up the league ufa mailbox to everyone after all this, so if anyone wanted to see how the process went down, they're more than welcome to at their leisure.

All in all, I think this went really well. I would like to thank all of the GM's out there who made this a fun process for me, your participation is what makes it all possible.

Other noteworthy thanks go out to Phil, Dylan, and Aaron, who have all been doing a great job getting the league ready for our next season. Todd S, the draft was fantastic, quick, and smooth, and I can't wait till next year now. Lochy, the site is looking amazing. Thanks to you 5 for taking time out of your personal lives to help run a league that is just for fun.

Free Agency doors will be closing at:  8:00am EST Tuesday September 6th

So please have your offers in before then, preferably well before then. Anything sent after that time will have a different process.

There are many teams (myself included) that need to fill out their roster and decrease their prospect list (see Dylans informative email that he recently sent out)  so I hope to hear from many of you, there is still good talent out there.
