Total Rebuild

Ambition.  Often a word used in association with go-getters, dream-seekers, and the excessively hopeful.  Ambition is also used to describe the new Toronto Maple Leafs GM Ron Dubin, as he was introduced to the public today at a press scrum in the bowels of the Air Canada Center.

"I'll be honest, this team is crap," GM Dubin said, "It needs a total overhaul, from the prospects, to the farm system, to the NHL squad."

As some fellow reporters whispered to each other that they have heard this song and dance before, referring to former GM Brian Burke, Dubin quickly seperated himself from his predecessor.

"If there was ever a team that was this bad, I haven't been told of it yet.  I'm not going to sit on my ass and wait for the team to frustrate me and force me to make moves, I will make moves to motivate the team.  I will be very active in the trade market, and we will build around Bryan Little to ensure the fans here in Toronto will have something to cheer about."

Rumor has it that Bryan Little is the only player not being offered around the league.
