Scott Arniel Saccked

In a surprise move the Canucks minor leauge affliliates the Chicago Wolves released coach Scott Arniel and replaced him with Joe Sacco.  Arniel had the Wolves at the top of the league with a 37-10-4 record for 82 pts.  It was unknown the reason for his release especially considering the teams record.

The Canucks/ Wolves GM Rino Di Antonio had this to say at the press conference introducing Sacco, "We have high standards with the organization and we felt Joe Sacco gave us a better opportunity to win games going forward.  Scott did a great job with our team, but we felt we couldnt miss an opportunity to add a coach like Joe to the organization."

Sacco recently held the Florida Panthers coaching position before being replaced by Marc Crawford.
