MRFHL RUMOR PIT !!!!!

Here's the rumors thats been spreading around the league. Its been quiet lately in MRFHL, but behind the scenes there's plenty happening and here's what we heard.

- Columbus GM Jerry Hussar is not happy with the start of his team.  Apparently star center Jason Spezza came to camp out of shape and has shown poor work ethic in practice, which might explain why he has no points in 4 games.  GM Hussar has made it clear that Spezza  and some other veterans on the team could be available if the team doesnt turn things around in the next five games.

- Many teams have made a phone call to Sens GM Tony Bottoni for winger Joffrey Lupul.  One of those teams is the Calgary Flames, apparently Derek Loftus has offered Jacob Silfverberg and d-man prospect Dalton Thrower.

- The Canadiens are looking for a #1 defenceman.  Many Habs scouts were seen at Panthers games.  Some say they're looking at Oliver Ekman-Larsson.  Ryan Suter is another d-man Montreal is interested in.

- Seems like there's no love between Hawks GM Todd Semonick and head coach Andy Murray. Mr. Semonick has been critical of Murray style of coaching, so expect a change behind the bench in Chicago. To make things worse, apparently Murray stole Semonick's parking space at the arena the other day. Rumoured replacements to replace Murray are Avs farm coach Claude Noel , Hartford Wolf Pack coach Jack Capuanno and Craig Berube.

- Winnipeg Jets are in the market for a #1 goalie, even though Devan Dubynk is off to a good start.  GM Schurman doesn't seem to have faith in the young goalie.  Ondrej Pavelec, Mike Smith and Ryan Miller are possible target for the Jets.

- In Calgary some of the Flames workers saw GM Derek Loftus' wife storming in his office yelling and screaming.  When asked what the fight was about, here's what one of the workers had to say "I don't know, all I heard is that it has something to do with a comment that GM Loftus said about wanting to see Joe Thornton scoring 4 goals. "
