Islanders hire new GM

Before moving to Brooklyn the Islanders organization decided that changing management regimes would be extremely important to make this team the best possible. The hope is young but experienced Ben Gallant can make this team better.

"I came in and saw a pretty god team, we need to fill out some depth positions" said Gallant "We aren't missing much to be a contender". Gm Gallant who in the past has shown preference to youth might have to break that preference to get this team playoff ready "honestly I want to win always, I feel youth it a great way to do that however so while I won't rebuild this team I won't rely on 35 year old players only to get us a victory"
