MRFHL Weekly Rumour Pit

*Tip: Keep trade talks, game stories coming.  If I can't find enough material for this column, I'll just make fun of random GM's.*

-Detroit has hit the reset button.  Apparently anyone who has hit puberty in the Red Wings organization is available according to new GM Canario.  He claims he want's to rebuild, but does creating a hockey preschool do the trick?

-The James Van Riemsdyk Sweepstakes has finally named a winner.  You didn't know about it?  Leafs GM Ron Dubin has been quietly fielding calls for the power forward for the past few months, and had held out until finally pulling the trigger with Calgary.  Evander "Don't Call Me Patrick" Kane and Dalton "Best Name In The World" Thrower come the other way.

-Speaking of Calgary, looks like Derek's Maple Leaf Boner got the best of him.  After landing JVR, He went out and paid a hefty price for Joffery Lupul.  Trade tip for new GM's: Contact Calgary if you have any Leafs, past, present or future.

-Alex The Gr8 is on the move once again, as Vancouver GM Rino has traded him to Columbus.  This was done after rumours of Steven Stamkos wanting to challenge Ovechkin to a rock paper scissors battle for top line minutes.  Thankfully before any feelings were hurt, Columbus GM Hussar came in to save the day.

-Boston amps up its lineup with the acquistion of Claude Giroux, only to create more questions about the lack of quality grinders in the bottom six.  GM Valente was overheard saying that he hopes to outscore the opposition to make things work.  So did the real life Oilers, Steve...

-Jonathan Quick is rumoured to be on the block.  GM's reportedly lined up lightning-fast to get a speedy deal done with the Panthers GM Wilson.  Wilson accelerated the rumours by mentioning in a sudden post on the MRFHL message board.
