Habs trade deadline review

Habs went into the trade deadline not knowing wether their would be sellers or buyers , turned out they were big time buyers. It all started when gm bennett phoned boudreau about goalie ryan miller and after a week of negociating ryan miller , mika zibenajad , brandon prust and max talbot packed their bags for pitsburgh in return habs got Zdeno chara , jonathan huberdeau , jamie mcguinn , mika kiprusoff and a 3rd rnd pick ."We are very happy to have acquired a futur franchise player like huberdeau he will be a fan favorite here in mtl. Chara will bring size and leadership wich we desperately need here and mcguinn  will solidify our third line and he can chip in offensively from time to time."boudreau said  When asked if Kiprusoff will get a contract offer. We will talk to his agent but the word im hearing is he want to retire after the season hell finish the season here and hopefully ramo will be ready next year .

The second trade Boudreau filled another need in the organisation a top center by acquiring paul stastny for backlund and two picks . Boudreau also picked up eric ferh from the sabres in return for a late pick. " ferh brings depht and size to our organisation " boudreau said .

When we tought Boudreau was over , he got his hands on another top dman in erik johnson in return pitsburgh got david rundblad and two picks .

Boudreau was asked about parenteau " we got some offers but we decided to keep him i will reach out to his agent and hopefully we can keep himfor a while here in mtl ."

Habs sent a private jet and all the new players were at practice this morning here were thw line
