Islanders Get Tricked!

48hrs after the Islanders locked up their goaltending tandem by signing Tim Thomas to join his often Social Media Rival tretchery was afoot as young Bill Thomas managed ink the same contract and steal the veteran goaltenders spot on the roster. When found for a comment the Islanders GM had the following statement.

"We in Brooklyn felt like adding Tim to our roster would help push us into the type of team that is looking for an opporunity to win. We have complete faith in Roberto but feel Timmy T could really be that guy to steal those few games this season and hopefully slide into the post season"

Big words from a GM that when he took over the club it looked as though the direction was heading south over the next few seasons. But a few moves later the Islanders are looking prime to make a potential push into the post season with the addition of Henrik and Daniel. When asked about Bill Thomas signig a 1yr deal instead of Tim the team issued the following statement.

"What in the world happened.. Did somebody tell Tim Thomas about our yearly visit to the White House? Have I simply been tricked by a guy in a mask or is this Bill Thomas the true identity of Tim.."

Truly puzzling times here in Brooklyn as we set our sites towards the regular season and if indeed Tim Thomas will be there! For TSN I'm Ribbi Shibbi signing off.
