Now that the boys are no longer on a 2 points per game clip, sources have indicated that the New York Rangers are entertaining the idea of trading one or both Valtteri Filppula and Ryan McDonagh.

The source went on to state that any deal will have to include a 1st in the 2015 MRFHL Entry draft. The exact quote was "both players can help legit contenders, eithe rguy could be that player that puts a team over the top. If teams what that kind of player, they will pay the premium asked."

It's said that the floated asking price was done with the purpose of shaking out those that are really interested from those that are "somehat" interested.

With the season nearing the half way mark, contenders are establishing themselves. Teams on the bubble could do well for themselves in making a move fone one or both players.
