Winnipeg Jets Win Stanley Cup!

The Winnipeg Jets are your MRFHL 2015 Stanley Cup Champions!!!

"Wow, What a great Feeling.   The Players and whole organization have just done a tremendous job throughout the year and even the past few years.   We were rebuilding when I took over and through trades, free aency and draft the last few year, we were able to find the right mix of players and chemistry.   This feeling is ubeleiveable, i'm lost for words right now.    Fucking Rights Winnipeg!!!"   Says GM Schurman.

The Jets were taking on the Capitals in the Finals, and got a big jump on the Club, leading the Caps 3-0 in the Series.  The team laid back for a couple games, and it almost got them in trouble.   But Game 6 back in Winnipeg the club closed the doors and came out with a 3-2 OT win.   Wayne Simmonds was the OT Hero as he slid on the ice with a great big Celebration!   

Henrik Zetterberg had a great playoffs leading the team with 26 Points.  He was picked up last Season, turning out to be great player for the Franchise.   Jets gave up a 1st in 2016 to get Kunitz, and he too had a great playoffs with 20 pts and a team leading 10 goals.   Jonathan Quick was stellar in Net with a 2.18 G.A.A.  and a .926 Save Percentage.   In the End it was a great perfromance by everyone, the depth of the club paid off and the Defence was Strong.   Deadline aquistions of Erik Johnson, Jan Hejda and Jarome Iginla were huge.  

Now let the Players, Fans, Coaches, Management and everyone within the organization Celebrate.   It's a great day in Winnipeg!  

Offseason will be next, as the Club will have to make some calls on some players, but they have the option of keepin the core together!  Top Priority will be locking up Jonathan Quick to an extension.
