Turn Your Pretender Into A Contender!

2016-04-13

Heading into tomorrow nights Trade-Deadline the Islanders are ready to help those pretenders become potential Stanley Cup Champions!

On The BlocK:

Kris Vertseeg - 66ov but with 72SC he is sure to add some scoring depth to anyones bottom 6

Alex Edler - 77OV w/ 3yrs left on his deal at a very fair price for someone who will only see top D duties with the Vancouver Canucks.

Jay Beagle - A solid 4th line Center with the ability to be a 3rd line player.

Mike Santorelli - Decent Bottom 6 Player.

Roberto Luongo - With 1yr left in his deal the Islanders would be open to retaining Salary if someone was interested in bringing Roberto into the Post-Season. Will re-rate nicely as well for a team looking to add a starting goaltender heading into next season.

Anton Volchenkov - If someone is interested it would not take much to move Volchenkov.

Lars Eller - A quality 3rd line center with the ability to be a top 6 forward - Pending RFA

Cheap Depth Options:

Sami Salo - With only 1yr on his deal he would be a cheap player to acquire to give a team that added depth.

Mike Kostka - With a 70OV rating and cheap term Kostka would also be a solid player to add to a teams bottom D pairing.

Prospects / Young Guns On The Block:

Ryan Strome - 71ov Center

Johan Sundstrom - 6.5C Center

Tobias Lindberg - 7.0C RW

Always open to offers on any player within the organization but I will go on record to say

Dylan Strome

Ivan Provorov

Travis Koneceny

Chris Tanev

Ryan Murray

Seth Griffith

Jannik Hansen

Will be harder to acquire but as stated above I am always open to deals :)
