It finally happened! The Preds won its very first Cup in franchise history today beating out the Atlanta Thrashers with a 2 to 1 ot victory and winning the series 4 to 2. It was a steep mountain climb to beat out last years champs in the 3^rd round and then battling it out in the finals with this years Presidents Cup winner. After working hard and building this team for over 3 years it has finally paid off said GM Wilson.

Cammalleri and Bergeron where outstanding finishing off just under 60 pts combined in 22 games. Backstrom was solid in net losing only three games. Defence core was unstoppable when killing penalties. The whole team came together to win this for the fans and bring the mrfhl Cup to Music City for the first time ever. Pred fans where going wild once they heard the good news. The streets where filled with thousands of fans celebrating all through the day and well into the night.
