Bolts trade Veterans

2011-03-21

Tampa Bay, FL, (AP)-  The Tampa Bay Lightning traded two Veteran forwards today as well two prospects , RW Jamie Langenbrunner , C/W Kris.Draper, Prospect RW Aaron Palushja, Prospect C Drew.Shore.  It is obvious the Bolts are in need of rebuilding this club and the Vets ob the team are willing to move on and help the organization and also get another opportunity to win a championship so Gm Boyski did just that and found Langs and Drapes a playoff bound team and proven Champion Team in Chicago. Both of these players will help Chicago for there push to the end of regular season and well into the playoffs. the organization also moved two talented young prospects to Chi town in Aaron Palushja and Drew Shore. Palushja is making good strides in the minors and could very well be a regualr pro levels next season and will add to an already potent group of youngster in Chicago's future. Shore is a BIG centermen who has good potential and is having a great Shopmore year in the NCCA with Denver .

Tampa bay recieved in return RW Brad Boyes, LW Anthony Stewart and AHLer C Trevor Smith we adding some ready wingers in which this club was in need off for this season and for the future. Boyes is a proven scorer who is still young and Stewart is a hard working winger who will add some grit scoring and he is still growing at the pro level and is a great addition to this organization for next season and future. Trevor Smith has pro experience and is a depth player at this time who could very well get a break and perhaps be a good 3rd 4th line center in the future. The outlook for next season and beyond is looking very good. Still much work needs to be done here and it is No secret that more players here in Tampa could find new homes before long.  Gm Boyski stated he is still very much move players such D-man Dan Boyle, LW Kristian Huseluis, RW Radim Vrbata, C David Legwand, and G Craig Anderson.  Other players could very well be moved also i'm sure if the right deal came about. Stay tuned!!
