Oilers Update

The OIlers are in the playoff race this year, more than they can say about the weird events last season.  However the Oilers seem to be better in there last 10 games or so, even though they came out flat against the flyers Lastnight.  The Wings will be up next.

The Club as done better since the deal involving Phaneuf and Campbell.  Cambpell is cheap this year and next and as gelled nice with our Club.  Mike Peca was brought into Edmonton just before the deadline to help out. Peca and Draper are 3rd and 4th Line centers that should shut down teams top lines and do very well on the PK. They both bring lots of experience to the Lineup and great Chekcing and Defensive Play. 

However right now, Malkin is completing is 5 game suspension, Peca is on the 2nd line, and may be a bit too much to ask for him up there. But we gotta make due with thaqt right now. Malkin will be back in a couple games, thats a big loss for our team, since Malkin leads the Team and Leauge in points and has been The MVP for us all season long.  Wouldn't be suprised if he wins league MVP.
