Columbus ink some players

The Columbus Blue Jackets have announced they have both signed Jose Theodore and Frederik Norrena to one year deals. This resolves the goaltender situation for now for the team. Financial terms of the deal were not released.

The team has also signed defenseman Karlis Skrastins to a deal that will keep him contracted for the next three years. It was rumored that the team was going after another defenseman to strengthen the blueline but recent reports have indiciated that the team is done with the free agency. There were also some rumors that they were looking at acquiring a defenseman by trade but it appears that the deal may just be dead. More to follow later.
